# Cookie notice

A sign-in cookie keeps you logged in. We also see how the site and the app are used, so we can improve them. We do not sell that, and we do not use it for advertising.

This page covers the public website and the staff app. It says what a device remembers, and what we look at so we can improve SpoonCub.

We do not sell this information. We do not use it to advertise to you, and we do not follow you around other websites.

# Staying signed in

The staff app keeps a sign-in cookie on that device so you do not have to enter your password on every screen. If you block cookies, the app may ask you to sign in again.

A lock you set on a phone or browser stays on that device. We do not receive it. Alerts on a device are optional, and you can turn them off there.

# Enquiry and registration

When you write to us or start a restaurant, we keep what you typed so we can reply and open the account. That is described in the [privacy policy](https://spooncub.com/privacy/index.md).

# How the site and the app are used

The website and the staff app can note that a page was opened, and which screens are used. On the staff app this can include a look at the visit, so we can see where something went wrong. What you type is hidden.

We use that to see what is working and to fix problems. A signed-in person's role and restaurant can be attached, so a problem can be tied to the right account. We do not sell this, and we do not use it for advertising.

# If this changes

If we start using this information in an important new way, we will update this page.
