A tea shop should buy software for the way tickets actually move, not because a POS ad showed a fine-dining floor.
What the shift looks like
A tea shop is speed: chai, snack, payment, next person. The menu is short. The queue is the product. Software that asks for a table layout on every cup will be abandoned by noon.
Where SpoonCub fits
Use SpoonCub at the counter as parcel orders, with the guest's name as the reference. If you have four plastic tables, those can be real tables. Staff tap items instead of remembering the rate. You still do not need a billing PC.
Where it does not
Skip it if you are a packaged-tea retailer counting SKUs. This is not retail inventory. Also skip it if you only need a calculator and you never dispute a bill.
- Staff place every order. Guests do not scan a QR.
- Takeaway is a parcel ticket. Seated service is a table.
- Checkout records UPI, cash, card, or other.
- There is no inventory count and no kitchen display.
