SpoonCub is a staff ordering app for restaurants, made by TechInventify. This page covers the public website and the staff app.

If a line is unclear, email support@spooncub.com.

What we keep

When you write to us or create a restaurant

  • Your name, restaurant name, city, phone, and email.
  • What you asked for, and the message you sent.
  • A password, if you create a restaurant. We do not keep the password in a form we can read. We email you a link to confirm the address before the restaurant is opened.

For your restaurant

  • The restaurant profile you fill in, such as address, GSTIN, GST percent, and UPI ID.
  • People you add: name, username, role, mobile, email, and password.
  • The work your team enters: tables, menu, orders, discounts, how a bill was paid, and the bill totals.
  • A guest's mobile number only if someone on your team types it in to share a bill on WhatsApp. Guests do not create accounts with us.
  • Support requests you send us, and messages we send you about your plan.

For your SpoonCub plan (what you pay us, not what a guest pays you)

  • Trial and paid dates, the amount, and how you paid us.
  • The invoice we send after a payment is confirmed.

If someone on your team sets a lock on a phone or browser, that lock stays on the device. We do not receive it.

Why we keep it

  • To open the restaurant, reply to you, and run the staff app for your team.
  • To show your team their orders and bills.
  • To bill you for the SpoonCub plan and keep the invoice.
  • To answer support requests and send the emails we told you we would send, such as the confirmation link and plan reminders.

We do not sell this information. We do not use it to advertise to your guests.

Who else can see it

  • People you add to the restaurant. Day-to-day orders and the menu are visible to your team. Plan and billing stay with the people you allow to manage the account.
  • TechInventify staff who need it to support you.
  • Companies that host the service and send our email. They handle this for us, and they may not use it for their own marketing.
  • WhatsApp, only when someone on your team chooses to share a bill. That opens a chat on their phone. We do not send the message ourselves.

Guest payments made to your UPI ID, in cash, or on your card machine are between you and the guest. We do not receive that money. If you later pay us for the SpoonCub plan online, the payment service will see the details needed to take that payment.

How long we keep it

We keep the restaurant's information while the account is open. If you ask us to close it, we remove staff logins and day-to-day orders after we keep what we still need for invoices, tax, and disputes. Messages you sent us are kept long enough to answer you and to show what we sent.

What you can ask for

  • The owner, and people the owner allows, can correct the restaurant profile, menu, and staff in the app.
  • You can ask for a copy of the restaurant information we hold, or ask us to close the account. Email support@spooncub.com from the owner's email.
  • You can tell us if an email address is wrong. Closing the account stops plan reminders.
  • Alerts on a device are optional. You can turn them off on that device.

We confirm a closure or a copy request with the owner before we act.

Children

SpoonCub is for restaurant teams. It is not meant for children.

Changes to this page

If we change this page, the date at the top changes. If a change affects how we use restaurant information in an important way, we will also email restaurant owners.
