A 10-person fine-dining org chart does not apply to a family dhaba. You still need a line: who can edit the menu, who can punch orders, and who can see the plan and payments.

SpoonCub uses three roles: Owner, Manager, and Staff.

Who can do what

  • Staff: tables, parcel tickets, orders, checkout, and the device PIN. No menu setup, no user roster, and no plan or payment screens.
  • Manager: floor setup (tables and menu), orders, and the roster. A Manager can add or edit Staff users only.
  • Owner: the same floor tools, plus plan, payments, and every role. You cannot remove the last Owner.

More, then Users, is the roster. Staff never see it. That is enough for a small shop without an HR tool.
